A large attached sun porch is the perfect spot for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails with commanding views of the estate and sea beyond.

Situated on a stretch of private, white, sandy beach with calm, shallow waters. Perfect for families with young children and for kayaking, paddle boarding or snorkeling. The water entry has patches of turtle grass so some guests may prefer to wear shoes when entering the water.
Tatenda is perfectly suited for large groups. From the separate carriage house to the third floor family suite to the multiple indoor and outdoor living spaces, guests feel connected yet have still have the benefit of privacy.
The outdoor space! Tall, swaying palm trees, a private beach cove and an oceanfront deck are just a few of our favorite things about the outdoor space at Tatenda.
All the little details. Tatenda simply oozes with Caribbean charm. We love the entry courtyard overflowing with flowers, the custom grand staircase and the classic West Indies décor accented by the owner’s original artwork.
Located in the prestigious neighborhood of South Sound, Tatenda has an ideal location on the South Side of the island. Secluded and private, yet within minutes to all of the dining and amenities that Georgetown and Seven Mile Beach have to offer.
Same kitchen management as Cracked Conch, this newcomer to the dining scene is a fabulous one! Fresh fish, marina views and kid friendly pool with full bar make it a great option before catching a flight home. They offer free airport shuttle service curbside at Owen Roberts International Airport which is a 1-minute drive!
Also located in Georgetown, Casanova serves authentic Italian food. It’s a kid friendly atmosphere with coloring books/crayons and flexibility with the menu. Nightly Tarpon feeding for diners to watch.
Submarine tours of the famous Grand Cayman dive sites are available for those who do not dive. Daytime and nighttime tours are available.
There is something here for everyone – shopping, dining, cinema, pedestrian streets, splash park, open green spaces – great for kids. 6 or so restaurants by the waterfront, ice cream shops, etc. Shopping – clothes, jewelry, MAC store, etc..
Smith’s Cove in South Sound (off the main South Sound road you will see a sign for “Smith’s Barcadere”) is another great option if you want to get off the beaten path. A local favorite, it is a mixture of craggy rocks (“ironshore”) and soft white sand. The views are beautiful and there are restrooms and fresh water showers. Snorkeling is great but there can be strong currents so it is not a great spot for children.
Seven Mile Beach is by far the most pristine beach on the island. We like to go to a restaurant and let the kids play. The Royal Palms is a good place to set up with a private cabana and beach front service. This beach can be crowded when cruises are in port so we like to go later in the day or on Sundays. The public beach is fine too and has restrooms and a playground but no restaurants so you will have to pack a cooler. The Public Beach is located in the middle of Seven Mile Beach.
Located in Grand Cayman’s North Side, this 65 acre heritage site was opened in 1994 by Queen Elizabeth herself and named in her honor. The grounds include a visitor center, Heritage Garden, floral garden, as well as a 2 acre lake. The park is a refuge for the endangered Grand Cayman blue iguana
