There are a few things you need to know.

Cayman Islands’ borders are now opened... Sort of.

The government is allowing the following groups to cross the Cayman Islands’ border:

  • Persons approved for the Global Citizen Concierge Program
  • Caymanians
  • Permanent residents
  • Work permit holders
  • Persons who own residential property within the Cayman Islands
  • Students with a valid visa to study in the Cayman Islands
  • Persons with close family ties to residents or work permit holders (spouses, fiancés, parents, grandparents, and siblings)
  • Other visitors approved by the Travel Cayman team

What you’ll need to provide if you’re traveling to the Cayman Islands

All eligible travellers (vaccinated or not) must:

  • Have proof of negative PCR results (test must be done a maximum of 72 hours before departure).
  • Take a COVID-19 test upon arrival at the airport in Cayman Islands – and again at the end of your quarantine period.
  • Remain in isolation for 10 days (if vaccinated) or 14 days (if not vaccinated).

The Cayman Islands’ government is adjusting requirements regularly, so make sure you check out the website of the Government of the Cayman Islands for the most up-to-date information.

Want to see if you’re eligible?

To see if you’re eligible to come to Grand Cayman before the borders fully open, apply via Travel Cayman.

Not eligible but still itching for a vacation in Grand Cayman?

Borders aren’t completely open, but we’re heading in the right direction with over 90% of seniors receiving their vaccine.

Most recently, the government said that borders will open fully when 70% to 80% of the total population has been vaccinated.

The good news is we’re already at 40% as of March!

So assuming the vaccine rolls out on time, boarders are likely to be open this summer.

Why book now?

Well we could tell you that half the fun of a vacation is in looking forward to it, which is true…

But more importantly, we anticipate villas are going to book like rapid fire as soon as the borders are officially open. So for the ones that don’t like waiting around and hoping for the best, we’re offering a 15% discount on our premium villas. Something we’ve never done, by the way.

And to make it completely risk-free for you, Luxury Cayman Villas has a new flexible cancellation policy. As long as you let us know 15 days before your booking, we’ll give you a full refund – no questions asked.

So what’s the Quarantine in Style Program?
