Skip the Customs Declaration Form

Most visitors to the Cayman Islands can now enjoy a more streamlined arrival experience by skipping the customs declaration form when they land at Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM).

As of June 30, 2018, the Cayman Islands Customs Department no longer requires a customs form from visitors who are within their duty-free allowances.

While the amount of the allowances hasn’t changed, this new rule will let most visitors just grab their luggage and proceed directly through the “green line” out to their transportation to their villas!

Visitors can still bring in their personal effects for use on vacation, as well as up to 1 liter of spirits, 4 liters of wine, or 1 case of beer, and up to 200 cigarettes or 250 grams of tobacco, duty-free. If a visitor exceeds these limits, brings in currency worth more than CI$15,000, or is carrying agricultural products (fruits, vegetables, meats, plants, plant products, cut flowers, live animals, or other animal products), they will need to complete the form and declare those items to Customs upon arrival.

All visitors will still need to complete an immigration form and wait in the immigration line upon arrival. For that reason, we always suggest that guests take advantage of our VIP Fast Track Arrival Service to skip right to the front of the immigration line!
