“Ladies’ Night” Grand Cayman Girls’ Trip

Travel Industry |

Sometimes all you need is quality time with your girlfriends—a few days to indulge in poolside gossip, a little retail therapy, a girls’ night out on the town and a cozy, intimate environment that allows for serious girl bonding.

When the women of BET’s new reality series “Ladies’ Night”—including R&B trio SWV (Sisters With Voices) and DJ Spinderella (from Salt N’ Pepa fame)—needed a laid-back, luxury girls’ trip earlier this month, they escaped to the Cayman Islands for some R&R. With its secluded shoreline, sweeping Caribbean vistas and oceanfront bedrooms, Luxury Cayman Villas’ “Evolution” provided the perfect sanctuary for the music legends to completely relax and reconnect with one another.

Your Caribbean Girls’ Getaway in the Cayman Islands

Take a page from SWV and DJ Spinderella’s playbook with a relaxing girls’ trip to Grand Cayman.

Girl-only vacations have been proven to promote positive mental and physical health. According to Harvard researchers, hanging out with friends can extend life expectancy. And as Southern Living points out, spending time with girlfriends can increase levels of oxytocin, otherwise known as the happy hormone.

With its heavenly year-round weather, miles of beautiful beaches, activities galore and delicious food culture, Grand Cayman offers the perfect solution for a blissed-out girls’ weekend. And with direct flights from many U.S. cities, grabbing your girlfriends for a weekend away has never been easier. (You have the approval of scientists, after all!)
