What's nearby

Located in

North Side

The district of North Side is appropriately located on the northern coastline of Grand Cayman, about a forty minute drive from the airport and far away from the hectic life of George Town, the capital of the Cayman Islands.

North Side is a charming and secluded village with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. The coastline here is unblemished and pristine.  It’s impossible not to immerse yourself in the area’s natural beauty.

North Side residents are neighborly and seem to truly enjoy and appreciate their little slice of paradise.   Despite its relative seclusion, you can still find some local shops and other amenities and the beaches and entertainment of Rum Point are just 5 minutes away.

Wreck of the Ten Sails

On February 8, 1794, a band of 10 merchant ships struck the reef and sank off of East End, Grand Cayman—the worst maritime disaster in the history of the islands. Although locals saved many of the ships’ crew and passengers, 8 lives were lost to the sea. Guests are welcome to visit the shipwreck look-out site, which includes a giant anchor and a commemoration plaque. On calm days, you can see parts of the ships glimmering beside the reef.
